#NCW2019: National Careers Week

#NCW2019: National Careers Week.

“NCW is run as a not-for-profit company to promote the importance of good careers education in schools and colleges, founded and backed by a number of volunteers with a wealth of experience from education, business and careers guidance”.

Happy National Careers Week!

National Careers Week (NCW) is a celebration of careers guidance and free resources in education across the UK. The aim is to provide a focus for careers guidance activity at an important stage in the academic calendar to help support young people leaving education and moving into the world of work.

Seen as this year’s theme focusses on empowering positive change through careers education – we sat down with Business Director, Gary Bradley, and spoke about some of the work he has been doing with The Diana Award:

Following on from Garys points; the work organisations such as NCW (as well as The Dianna Award) do to ensure students get an important insight into the future of work and further learning are vital as better informed students result in better future decision makers.

All of NCW resources are free so be sure to check out their website for more info right here and all this week!

This National Careers Week we also wanted to remind you that, with over 40 branches nationwide, we’re always here should you need help finding a job, staff or any recruitment advice & tips!
