Looking for a new challenge? The Recruitment Co are currently looking for a Automation/Control Engineer to work for a successful engineering company based in County Durham.

You would be provided with a company van and would be expected to travel around the north east to different client sites to carry out project work.

Shifts: Day Shift, Monday to Friday – Overtime available
Salary: £53,000 per annum

The Ideal Candidate will have a recognised qualification to HNC/HND level in electrical engineering and have working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics and also will be:

• Be proficient in designing and writing code for either Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allan Bradney PLC’s.
• Have experience and working knowledge of ABB, Fanuc or Kuka robotics.
• Have experience and working knowledge of networking systems in Scarda, Profinet/Profibus.
