We are currently seeking a part-time temporary ongoing part-time Library assistant for our Client based in Coalisland . This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a public sector body. STARTING 26/2/24
Hours of work:
Week 1
Monday 10-1.30
Thursday 10-1.30
Week 2
Thursday 3-6
Saturday 10-2
Rate of pay is £11.49 per hour. Saturday pay rate £17.24 per hour
Duties include:
· Handling client queries using print & electronic resources
· Registering clients
· Introducing and explaining library services, rules and regulations
· Provide all library services to meet the learning , information, leisure and cultural needs of the local community.
Essential Criteria:
· Must have 5 GCSE’s including English language and Maths grade C or equivalent
· 1 years experience providing face to face service with the public.
· Experience working with young children and elderly people
· Experience using ICT for accessing, selecting and using information
