Mobile Engineer – Field based

Covering Leicester & Nottingham

£30,201 per annum – based on 48 hours per week – overtime paid at 1.5x after 48 hours worked

4 day week, 12 hrs per day, no weekends (Monday to Thursday / Tuesday to Friday)

(Company van, tools and equipment supplied)

Our client is a recognised Global leader for the supply of Customer Shopping Trolleys, Shop Fitting Solutions, Logistics & Industry products, Airport trolley products and a large range of Services.

A fantastic opportunity is now available for a Mobile Engineer on a permanent basis.

Mobile Engineer responsibilities:

• Drive a mobile equipment repair van between retail sites on a daily basis
• Repair various retail equipment at different locations throughout the region (You will do this working from your van at Customer’s sites)
• Fitting and stripping components, straightening, welding and testing (Full training will be provided for all activities)
• Undertake completion of end of job reports, time sheets and any other documentation required, ensuring that you provide timely and accurate information on work activities
• Ensure all work is to the standard agreed at the completion of your training
• Use a Company Smartphone to record all work activities and complete jobs raised by the Service Office

Mobile Engineer requirements:

• Have a full UK driving licence
• Be mechanically minded
• Have the ability to use power tools
• Be punctual & reliable
• Must have a friendly and professional manner
• Mig welding experience desirable although not essential (Full training given)
• Previous experience in mobile service desirable although not essential
