Job Title: MRP Scheduler/Controller
Location: Blackwood

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Hours: Full time. Monday – Friday (7.5 hours per day)

Here at The Recruitment Co we are currently recruiting a MRP Scheduler/Controller to work for a company in Blackwood.

Main Job roles:

• Production scheduling and optimisation of inventory levels
• Coordination of the flow of materials and paperwork to meet the production schedule
• Creating effective communication and high visibility links on all production issues between various work centers and departments.
• Constantly reviewing all processes and procedures (Continuous improvement)
• Ensure compliance and efficient systems used to meet business goals and department KPI’s
• Able to think globally and capable of seeing the overall picture of any problem situation

Required Experience

• Relevant professional qualification or experience in a MRP scheduling role.
• Experience in Inventory analysis and periodic reporting of information to support decision making and inventory control
• Experience working in a MRP scheduling environment
• SAP MRP/production scheduling system background preferred
• Sound level of computer literacy (including Excel, Word and Power Point experience). Proficient use of MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Driver of change and able to motivate a positive attitude in others
• Ability to interact at all levels, both on the shop floor and with senior managers alike
• Able to perform company duties and make decisions under deadlines and handle multiple priorities whilst ensuring there is no risk to stakeholders, product or the business???????
