Temporary Positions
The Recruitment Co is currently recruiting Quality Control Operatives to join our client, Camden Group, a leading manufacturer of high-quality uPVC and aluminium window and door systems based in Antrim.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in manufacturing, production, or quality control to join a well-established company committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Location: Camden Group, Steeple Road, Antrim
Start Date: Immediate Start Available
Pay & Shift Patterns
Day Shift
- £14.02 per hour
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 1:15pm
Evening/Night Shift
- £15.20 per hour
- Monday to Wednesday: 5:00pm – 2:30am
- Thursday: 5:00pm – 10:15pm
- Friday: 3:00pm – 12:30am
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process.
- Complete final inspections of windows and associated components.
- Check products for quality, appearance, dimensions, and functionality.
- Identify, record, and report defects and quality concerns.
- Assist with investigating and resolving quality issues.
- Complete inspection records and quality documentation accurately.
- Ensure products meet company and customer standards before dispatch.
- Work closely with production teams to maintain quality standards.
- Follow all Health & Safety, Quality, and Company procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or quality control environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify defects.
- Ability to follow processes, specifications, and quality standards.
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively within a team.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on role that involves:
- Manual handling of windows and associated products.
- Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Following safe manual handling procedures at all times.
