We are currently recruiting for a Fire Safety Officer (Risk Assessment) to join a busy and professional compliance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fire safety professional to play a key role in managing fire safety across a diverse property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake Fire Risk Assessments and identify fire hazards and risks.
• Develop and manage Fire Safety Action Plans, ensuring all recommendations are implemented and monitored.
• Coordinate and oversee the delivery of fire safety works through external contractors.
• Monitor contractor performance and address any issues relating to compliance and quality.
• Provide expert advice on fire safety legislation, regulations, and best practice.
• Liaise with a range of stakeholders including contractors, tenants, local authorities, and internal teams.
• Deliver fire safety training and awareness sessions where required.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation relating to fire safety compliance.
• Manage complaints and respond to general fire safety enquiries.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and industry developments.

Essential Criteria

✅ NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management qualification or equivalent

✅ Colin Todd Fire Risk Assessment Competency Training

✅ 1-5 years’ relevant experience within a fire safety, health & safety, compliance, or property environment

✅ Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, regulations, and risk assessment processes

✅ Good IT skills

✅ Full commitment to continuous professional development
